A soccer kit has three parts to size: the jersey, the shorts and the socks. Jerseys and shorts are sized by garment measurements, while socks are sized by shoe size. Goalkeeper kits, training wear and bibs each have their own chart too.

How to measure a soccer jersey
Lay a jersey that fits the player well on a flat surface and take two measurements:
- Chest width (A): measure straight across the front, 1 inch below the armholes, side seam to side seam.
- Body length (B): from the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom hem.

How to measure soccer shorts
Lay the shorts flat with the waistband relaxed, then measure:
- Waist (A): measure across the top of the waistband, laid flat and relaxed.
- Inseam (C): from the crotch seam down the inside leg to the hem.

Soccer sock sizes
Soccer socks are sized by shoe size rather than garment measurements. Use this table to pick a size for each player:

Sizing tips for soccer teams
- Collect jersey, shorts and sock sizes separately for every player.
- Ask for each player’s shoe size for socks.
- Order goalkeeper kits on their own chart, not the outfield kit chart.
- Use the women’s chart for women’s and girls’ teams and the youth chart for junior teams.
- Reorders of an approved kit can be below 10 pieces, so new players can be added later.
