Lacrosse has two very different kits: men’s and boys’ jerseys are worn over shoulder pads, while women’s and girls’ teams wear fitted jerseys with skorts or 4-inch shorts. Reversible pinnies for practice and scrimmages have their own chart as well.

How to measure a lacrosse jersey
For men’s and boys’ teams, measure a jersey the player already wears over shoulder pads, not a T-shirt. Lay it flat and take two measurements:
- Chest width (A): measure straight across the front, 1 inch below the armholes, side seam to side seam.
- Body length (B): from the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom hem.

Reversible pinnies
Pinnies are sized in adult and youth sizes, Adult XS–2XL, Youth YXS–YXL, and are measured the same way as a jersey. Because they are often worn over a jersey or pads at practice, measure a pinnie the player already wears rather than a fitted top. See our reversible lacrosse pinnies or open the pinnie size chart.
Women’s and girls’ lacrosse uniforms
Our women’s lacrosse uniforms come in Women’s XS–2XL, Girls’ GXS–GXL, with the jersey and the skort on one chart. Skorts and 4-inch shorts are measured by waist and length, laid flat:
- Waist (A): measure across the top of the waistband, laid flat and relaxed.
- Length (B): from the top of the waistband to the hem.

How to measure lacrosse shorts
Lay the shorts flat with the waistband relaxed, then measure:
- Waist (A): measure across the top of the waistband, laid flat and relaxed.
- Inseam (C): from the crotch seam down the inside leg to the hem.

Sizing tips for lacrosse teams
- Size men’s and boys’ jerseys from a jersey worn over pads.
- Use girls’ sizes for junior girls’ teams and youth sizes for junior boys’ teams.
- Pinnies use adult and youth sizes, not men’s and women’s, so check the pinnie chart.
- Collect jersey and shorts or skort sizes separately.
