A reversible jersey is two jerseys in one: a different color on each side, with numbers on both sides, so a player can turn it inside out and switch teams in seconds. Leagues, camps, clubs and schools use them to cover home and away colors, practice scrimmages and rotating teams with a single set of jerseys.
This guide explains when reversible jerseys make sense, which sports we make them for, how to design them and what to check before you order.

When to choose reversible jerseys
- Practice and scrimmages: split a squad into two teams instantly, without a second set of jerseys or pinnies.
- Leagues and camps: players move between teams and colors without new uniforms.
- Home and away from one jersey: one color for home games and the other for away games.
- Travel: one jersey per player instead of two.
Standard jerseys are still the better choice when you want the design and decoration on one side only, or when home and away kits are completely different designs.

Reversible jerseys we make, by sport
Every style links to its size chart, and the last column links to the product page:
Reversible shorts are available for basketball, lacrosse and soccer, so the whole uniform can switch colors.

Designing a reversible jersey
- Pick two clearly different colors: the point is that the two sides can be told apart at a glance, so choose a light and a dark color or two strong contrasting colors.
- Numbers on both sides: put each player’s number on both sides, ideally the same number, so rosters stay simple.
- Logos and sponsors: decide which logos go on which side. Your free design mockup shows both sides before production.
- Pantone colors: we can match your exact team colors on both sides.
Our basketball reversibles, like our basketball uniforms and shorts, are made from birdseye mesh.
Reversible jerseys vs pinnies
Pinnies are lightweight practice bibs worn over other clothing. Reversible jerseys are full jerseys that can be worn on their own for games and practice. We make basketball pinnies and reversible lacrosse pinnies as well as reversible jerseys.
