Softball teams have more style choices than most sports: button-down, 2-button, crew neck and V-neck jerseys, sleeveless and racerback cuts, lightweight and reversible versions, and pants, knickers or three-quarter knickers below. Every one of these has its own size chart.

Start by choosing your jersey style
Because each jersey style has its own chart, pick the style first and then size from that chart. These are the softball jersey families we make:

How to measure a softball jersey
Lay a jersey that fits the player well on a flat surface and take two measurements:
- Chest width (A): measure straight across the front, 1 inch below the armholes, side seam to side seam.
- Body length (B): from the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom hem.

Pants, knickers or three-quarter knickers?
Decide on the leg style before you collect sizes, because full pants, tapered pants, knickers and three-quarter knickers each have their own chart. All of them are measured the same way, with the garment laid flat and the waistband relaxed:
- Waist (A): measure across the top of the waistband, laid flat and relaxed.
- Inseam (B): from the crotch seam down the inside leg to the hem.
- Outseam (C): from the top of the waistband down the side to the hem.

Sizing tips for softball teams
- Pick one jersey style for the whole team first, then size every player from that style’s chart.
- Collect jersey and pants sizes separately; a player can wear a different size in each.
- Use the women’s chart for women’s and girls’ teams and the youth chart for junior teams.
